Hudyakaan returns

Hudyakaan, Davao’s nightly party event, returns with a bang for the Kadayawan Festival season.

Now couched in a new venue inside the Rizal Park, the Hudyakaan sa Kadayawan is a nightly party event featuring a bevy of Davao’s best local bands, overflowing beer and Davao-style barbecue.

The Hudyakaan opened on Wednesday and will run for 20 days. Like the Hudyakaan events of the past, the Kadayawan edition is expected to pack the crowds in every night at the Rizal Park. Gates open from 6:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m.

The Kadayawan Festival officially kicked off on Friday (Aug. 3) with elaborate ceremonies at the People’s Park.

The Hudyakaan is an official Kadayawan event organized by the Davao Association of Tour Operators (DATO).
